pronounced |nile-KO|Founded in 2002, the Nile Company "nileco" is located just outside of beautiful Roanoke, VA.
Our story began with the desire to create a single, profitable online store. As the site grew, so did we, both the company and our expertise.

Chris Jones
Chris began his executive career in technology back in 1997, as the Vice-President for the newly formed retail division of a global computer manufacturer. Since that time he has lead companies to growth and prosperity with a hands-on approach not often seen at this level.
Self-taught in the art of ecommerce web design. The first creation was the original troutlet.com, a sporting goods retail site focused on the vertical market of trout fishing equipment. Troutlet became the #1 site world-wide for fishing and was absorbed by Jadeos, Inc. which remains one of our most active and long-time clients.
Throughout his career, Chris has been called upon to create successful businesses, both online and offline. It is Chris's experience that leads nileco to achieve continued success on behalf of our clients both foreign and domestic.
Nate Buxley
Nate came to us in 2004 and is the original "whatever-it-takes" guy.
Nate has worked in online marketing firms throughout his career centered in Austin, Texas. While in Texas, Nate worked for several Fortune 500 companies, helping them develop applications, marketing initiatives and strategies as well as the design of some of the major websites of the great Internet Boom.
With a genuine love for working with people, Nate enjoys overseeing Customer Service as well as brainstorming for new clients.
Nate and his wife Sarah have been married for 22 years and currently reside on the water in Tampa, Florida.
Arlinda Jones
Besides being the "life" and wife of Chris Jones, Arlinda is the company Accountant and so much more.
Mrs. Jones acts as a Buyers Representative, has managed the day to day operations of several ecommerce ventures and is well regarded by the customers and manufacturers that interact with her on a day to day basis. She is an experienced product sourcer, wholesale negotiator, and relationship builder.
With her years of experience in Accounting and at times some delicate situations, Arlinda manages the receivables and deliverables for nileco customers all over the world.
Steven Franco
Steve came to us as an intern in the Spring of 2006 and never left. He is well gifted in web design and is called upon to put the results of company brainstorming sessions into the Mock-up stage.
With a creative spongue-like brain, Steve stays on top of new emerging technologies, design methods, internet trends and is simply a wealth of ideas. Steve's current pet project is the development of our own in-house Content Management System. He also works with a network of online design gurus that we constantly bounce ideas off of.
